Engage With Us
Being engaged in church is about more than merely attending Sunday services. We want to be a church that all people love to attend. In order to be that kind of church, we need the help of people who share our passion for leading people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. If you share that passion, you can fully engage in the life of the church by doing three things: Connect, Grow, and Serve.
Are you new to the Church at Lake Mead and wondering what’s next? Wondering about God, Jesus, or the Bible? Jump Start is an six-week life group that provides an opportunity to explore faith in a very safe, non-threatening environment. In fact, no question is off-limits. As a result of this group, you’ll experience a taste of what it’s like to be in community with other people on a similar journey.
If you’re new to faith, just checking it out, or coming back to church after some time away, Jump Start is a great first step. To learn more about Jump Start or to join, please contact us at gro.a1503107796cml@m1503107796laceh1503107796t1503107796.
If you want to grow in your relationship with Jesus, you need to have intentional relationships with people who have the same goal—and Life Group is the ideal place for that. In a Life Group, eight to twelve adults in the same stage of life and area of town meet regularly for a year or more to pursue spiritual growth and healthy relationships. You’ll be encouraged to live out the truths you discover in the Bible, as you encourage others to do the same.
We offer Life Groups for adults in various stages of life:
Married Groups include couples in the same stage of life—newly married, without children, with children, and empty nesters.
Men’s Groups are made up entirely of single men or a mix of men at different stages of life, including married, single, divorced, and widowed.
Women’s Groups are made up of single women or a mix of women at different stages of life, including married, single, divorced, and widowed.
Please contact us if you have a question about Life Groups.
