Major Moves (Pt. 2) | Pastor Jeremy Bair

Services

Sunday mornings at 9:00 AM & 11:00 AM

Oct. 11, 2026

We can move geographically without ever moving spiritually. As Church at Lake Mead prepares for a major physical move into our new facility, we must ensure our hearts are spiritually prepared and consecrated for what God wants to do.

In Part 2 of our "Major Moves" series, Pastor Jeremy contrasts two powerful figures from the book of Joshua: Rahab the prostitute and Achan the Israelite. Through two battles at Jericho and Ai, we see two completely different heart postures:

-Rahab: Moved from a place devoted to destruction into life and grace because she trusted in Yahweh.

-Achan: Moved from a camp of promise into destruction because he fell into the pattern of "I saw, I desired, I took" and hid worldly treasures in his tent.

Discover why personal consecration impacts the entire community and how to break free from secret sin by fixing your eyes on Jesus.
